Douglas County Health and Social Services provides services at locations in Roseburg, Drain, Canyonville, and Reedsport.

Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Division services are accessed through Douglas County Mental Health’s outpatient clinic. Individuals needing mental health services can utilize the walk-in clinic between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or call to schedule an access assessment appointment, at the main mental health clinic located at 621 W. Madrone Street, Roseburg Oregon. Douglas County Mental Health also provides assessments for individuals in crisis. Individuals meeting eligibility criteria are assigned to a therapist where they work collaboratively with their treatment team to identify and develop skills and supports, access resources and information and begin to work toward recovery. Treatment provided may include individual, group, and family therapy as well as medication therapy prescribed by licensed medical providers. Public Health Division is responsible for planning and leadership in assessing the public health needs of Douglas County residents and developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive health programs designed to meet those needs. Public Health provides immunization services, nurse home visiting programs for pregnant women and for children, family planning, prenatal clinic, WIC (Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Services). The Division also is responsible for communicable disease investigations, tuberculosis case management, tobacco prevention and education, and chronic disease and wellness planning and education.
